Grrrrrrrrhhhh! I really shouldn't read the Daily ScareMail but I do. The thing is, that in amongst its scaremongering is proof that this country is slowly going mad. A story today about a man convicted after killing someone by dangerous driving.
Okay, so the man was using a hands free mobile phone, but the reason he crashed was because he was driving dangerously. I can understand why banning mobile phone use made sense but now the OTT PC brigade want to ban use of hands free kits whilst driving too!
Has the world gone mad? How is talking into a handsfree kit any different, or more distracting than speaking to someone sitting next to you in the car or even behind you? What next? A ban on talking to passengers? What about people that are distracted by other drivers? A nice car passes? Should we just ban cars?
Yep, that's my plan for the weekend then. I'm gonna start a lobby to ban ALL cars from being driven to avoid road traffic accidents. Whilst I'm at it, I think lorry, van and bus drivers should be stopped too. Just in case, you know, they might get distracted by a pedestrian, especially now summers here and the teen girls tend to disrobe!
Honestly. WHAT HAPPENED TO COMMON SENSE in this country? Huh??

I don't worry about that, driving is my best excuse for not having to answer the phone - especially if it's a sister calling!

And, stop reading the Daily Mail - Mail Reader Symdrome is catching, and leads to an irrational fear of all immigrants!
