I didn't kill anyone...

I did it! I had my first driving lesson today after a 12 year gap. And I wasn't too bad.

I even managed to drive myself part way home without knocking anyone over or scraping the car!!!

And I survived, I'm even looking forward to my next lesson next week!

I'm gonna get this driving malarkey licked! Mobility and freedom here I come!

Big hugs to all my honeys out there, hope you've had a great day too.

ps - in other news - I had a mad busy day at work, I'm still in the top 7 and pushing for the top 5 (fingers crossed), I've also been given the good news that I might get a payrise so all in all a fandabbytastic day

  the instructor drove me when we got to the roads that had lots of scary cars/pedestrians/junctions. And I didn't damage the car once

3 months! You having a laugh? Only 2 hours a week at that. I wish. If I'm driving before Xmas I'll be amazed, but very happy, if I can pass on only my second attempt (I failed 12 years ago) I'll be happy too.
