Having an odd email conversation with a mate, about another couple we both know. My friend lets call her A, made a pasta salad for her man's lunch. Then the other girl (
commented on how pasta salad isnt a man's lunch, B then continued to say she made her man a packed lunch of 3-4 sandwiches and a chocolate bar, and considered this to be a 'proper mans lunch'.
well, this has made me chuckle as it sounds like a hyped up kiddy lunch box, but got me and hubby talking.
What is 'a proper mans lunch?'
He said: steak and 3 pints of beer.
Me: pie and chips and a pint.
Well, I guess there are other things that could be considered more manly. Any suggestions? Obviously my aim is to gently rib friend B when next I see her.
